Boldly architectural with two levels of leading-edge facilities, our Sanctuary Lakes centre leads the way with indoor-outdoor spaces over two levels, vast views over Sanctuary Lakes Golf Club’s lake, and a ‘skygarden’ play-space …complete with bespoke-built play-equipment!
With individual reverse-cycle climate-control for every room and a commercial-grade kitchen for our chef, this clever two-level design creates distinctly separate levels for younger and older children alongside age-appropriate outdoor spaces. Right at home amongst the area’s most prestigious homes, and right on the edge of the course, this flagship centre offers a fitting entry to the Sanctuary Lakes way of life.

What We Do
Wallaby Childcare Sanctuary Lakes cleverly caters for children from 6 weeks to pre-school in a well-designed facility that zones babies and toddlers quietly at ground level and lets big children run free in the course-view ‘skygarden’. With childcare and teaching staff all qualified in their area of speciality from babyhood to kindergarten, every child at Wallaby Childcare receives an expert attention and an exceptional level of care.

About Us
Our Family
From the very beginning, our business has been built on constructing facilities, choosing staff and creating programs that meet the individual needs of the communities we serve. As a family owned and operated group, Wallaby Childcare has been providing superior childcare services since 2005 with a home-away-from-home for our children.
Our Vision
We are committed to creating a place where children are stimulated to thrive, encouraged to explore, and inspired to develop a life-long love of learning. We want our children to create fond memories, make first friendships and grow from shared experiences. Most of all, we want them to see us a cherished part of their childhood.
Our Programs
Grounded in the curriculum set by the national Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the state Victorian Early Years Learning Framework (VEYLDF) our programs are partially based around the Reggio Emilio concept of child-directed indoor-outdoor play. Designed to allow every child to be an individual learner, our programs let children work at their own pace to achieve the age-appropriate objectives identified for them.
Our Storypark app will even keep you in touch with everything that’s going on at the centre… and with your child in particular.
Our People
Our staff like coming to work, our key Directors have been with Wallaby Childcare since the earliest days, and most of our staff have been with us for many years. They stay with us because we help them to be their best. At Wallaby Childcare, we encourage our staff to develop skills, continue education, add to their qualifications…and build their careers around your children.
Our Centres
Every Wallaby centre is designed in consultation with the people who work there. This means our centres are as unique as our children – with everything from outdoor classrooms, to bespoke play-gyms, to our famous Big Red Barn. Every centre is designed to grow and adapt with our programs, the seasons and our children’s changing interests with rooms that blur the boundaries between inside and out, gardens with shade and shelter and customised play equipment.
Our Food
Every Wallaby Childcare centre has a qualified chef on-site creating fresh meals that are tasty enough to tempt the busiest child, and varied enough to offer choices for the fussiest eater…and it goes without saying they are expert in working within religious and cultural boundaries.
Our Welcome
Our children come from all over the world, they have a range of abilities and a diversity of family situations…just like us. At Wallaby Childcare, we draw our staff from where we are based, they are of all ages and genders, and all sorts of families – they mirror your community and, when needed they can be supplemented by interpreters and support staff to meet your child’s individual needs.
