The foundations built during a child’s earliest years shape their future approach to learning. At Wallaby Childcare, our programs are guided by leading government and industry frameworks to ensure every child receives a meaningful, high-quality learning experience.

Our inclusive learning program is grounded in the national Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the state Victorian Early Years Learning Framework (VEYLDF) and exceeds National Quality Standards.

These guidelines centre our programs around 5 key outcomes:

Our team of qualified Early Childhood educators brings expertise and passion to every learning experience, designing programs that inspire children to become confident, connected and effective communicators.

Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach to child-led learning and indoor-outdoor play, our programs recognise that every child is unique. We support each child as an individual learner, encouraging them to explore, discover, and progress at their own pace while working towards personalised learning goals developed by our experienced educators.

While our approach is thoughtfully planned, learning at Wallaby Childcare feels natural and effortless for children. Across every age group and learning environment, children are encouraged to play, create, investigate, and connect in ways that feel familiar and meaningful, just as they would at home. In our warm, home-like environments, qualified educators extend these moments of play into opportunities for intentional learning and development.

Through child-initiated experiences, our educators observe, guide, and introduce new possibilities for exploration. Children have the freedom to learn independently, collaborate with others, engage in indoor and outdoor discovery, and build confidence through play. Our OWNA Parent App keeps you connected with everything happening at the centre, providing an easy, timely and secure way to communicate with us. Simply download the OWNA Parent App and log in to stay up to date with your child’s learning, daily updates, photos, announcements, and important centre communications.

The OWNA Parent App also gives you convenient access to your family account, allowing you to:

  • View account statements and billing information.
  • Manage your child’s enrolment details and update contact information.
  • Record and update medication and illness information.
