Who We Are
We are thrilled to unveil our newest childcare centre, designed with love and expertise to provide a nurturing haven for your little people. Our state-of-the-art facility boasts seven thoughtfully crafted children’s rooms, each tailored to specific age groups, including specially designed spaces for 3 and 4-year-olds on the second floor. With expansive undercover decking, carefully designed playgrounds, and panoramic views, every corner is a haven for exploration and growth.
Our spacious, regionally-inspired kitchen not only serves as the heart of our centre but also offers breathtaking vistas of the surrounding hills and paddocks, adding a touch of natural beauty to the daily experience.
On the ground floor, five more children’s rooms await, complemented by three vibrant playgrounds intertwined with the lush greenery of established trees, seamlessly connecting our centre to the land.

Where You'll Find Us
Wallaby Childcare Donnybrook can be found in the heart of the Olivine Estate, off Donnybrook Rd in Donnybrook. Our ideal location sees us opposite Hume Anglican Grammar, and a quick hop step and a jump to Donnybrook Primary School. A gentle walk to the community centre, Shared Cup café, Gumnut Park and playground enables you to get your grounding in the Olivine Estate. We are a short drive to the Donnybrook train station and if you travel 5 minutes further along Donnybrook Road , you reach the Hume Freeway.
What We Do
Wallaby Childcare Donnybrook looks forward to building community relationships with the families of Olivine by providing high quality education and care for children aged 0-5. Our Bachelor trained Kindergarten teachers of our 3- and 4-year-old Kindergartens are supported by a team of passionate Educators who understand the community needs, are ready to build connections and relationships and have a commitment to support the children of Wallaby to become curious and engaged learners. Our highly qualified Educators throughout the centre have been carefully selected to continue the vision and values of Wallaby for your family.

About Us
Our Family
From the very beginning, our business has been built on constructing facilities, choosing staff and creating programs that meet the individual needs of the communities we serve. As a family owned and operated group, Wallaby Childcare has been providing superior childcare services since 2005 with a home-away-from-home for our children.
Our Vision
We are committed to creating a place where children are stimulated to thrive, encouraged to explore, and inspired to develop a life-long love of learning. We want our children to create fond memories, make first friendships and grow from shared experiences. Most of all, we want them to see us a cherished part of their childhood.
Our Programs
Grounded in the curriculum set by the national Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the state Victorian Early Years Learning Framework (VEYLDF) our programs are partially based around the Reggio Emilio concept of child-directed indoor-outdoor play. Designed to allow every child to be an individual learner, our programs let children work at their own pace to achieve the age-appropriate objectives identified for them.
Our Storypark app will even keep you in touch with everything that’s going on at the centre… and with your child in particular.
Our Early Childhood Educators
Our staff like coming to work, our key Directors have been with Wallaby Childcare since the earliest days, and most of our staff have been with us for many years. Our early childhood educators stay with us because we help them to be their best. At Wallaby Childcare, we encourage our staff to develop skills, continue education, add to their qualifications…and build their careers around your children.
Our Centres
Every Wallaby centre is designed in consultation with the people who work there. This means our centres are as unique as our children – with everything from outdoor classrooms, to bespoke play-gyms, to our famous Big Red Barn. Every centre is designed to grow and adapt with our programs, the seasons and our children’s changing interests with rooms that blur the boundaries between inside and out, gardens with shade and shelter and customised play equipment.
Our Food
Every Wallaby Childcare centre has a qualified chef on-site creating fresh meals that are tasty enough to tempt the busiest child, and varied enough to offer choices for the fussiest eater…and it goes without saying they are expert in working within religious and cultural boundaries.
Our Welcome
Our children come from all over the world, they have a range of abilities and a diversity of family situations…just like us. At Wallaby Childcare, we draw our staff from where we are based, they are of all ages and genders, and all sorts of families – they mirror your community and, when needed they can be supplemented by interpreters and support staff to meet your child’s individual needs.
