When Shirley joined Wallaby Childcare in 2013 she brought with her a world of knowledge and a wealth of experience. Her career in the early years’ sector spans three systems of education; as she trained, worked and moved into leadership roles across India, Singapore and Australia. It’s no surprise then, that Shirley was excited by the opportunity to move into roles that would challenge and provide her with new experiences.

As an Educational Leader, Shirley collaborates with Educators, provides direction on curriculum, and uses her talent for reflection, communication and connection to empower the people around her. As Shirley’s well-travelled background might suggest, away from work she is an adventurer. She is open to travel, excited to explore, and always on the look-out for an interesting experience …whether that’s a sunny beach walk with her dog, Oscar, or a cool night out at the rugby!
