The embodiment of Wallaby’s ‘home away from home’ approach, Melanie has built her life in the Greensborough area …and her career at Wallaby Childcare. Raised and educated in Eltham, Melanie started out with us in 2015; taking casual and part-time roles while still completing her Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. On achievement of her diploma, Melanie stepped up as a Room Leader, and has since led rooms, managed teams and mentored Educators.

Most recently, Melanie has explored her interest in Community Sector management by completing an Advanced Diploma …and took her career to the next level as Joint Centre Director. Outside of work, Melanie’s interests extend to a love of books, time spent with her large extended family …and weekends out exploring the Great Ocean Rd with her partner!
