Ekta joined the Wallaby Lollypop Creek team as Centre Director in 2026. She is originally from the state of Jammu and Kashmir, India, and moved to Australia 9 years ago, now calling Mambourin her home.

Ekta has been working in the education sector for more than a decade and brings with her a strong academic and professional background. She holds a Diploma in Early Childhood and in Leadership and Management and has been studying and developing herself for many years.

Her core strength is that she is a compassionate, caring, and inclusive person who considers every possibility to make her team, children, and families feel happy and supported.

Ekta believes it is crucial to support the development of each child, from their first steps to early academic milestones, through creative activities, structured learning, and meaningful interactions. She believes in fostering a home away from home with a sense of community, building strong relationships with families, and ensuring that every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged to explore their full potential.

In her spare time, Ekta likes to spend time with her family, cooking and write poetry.
