Melissa Irawan

Melissa joined Wallaby Sanctuary Lakes in February 2024 as an Assistant Educator. Shortly after, she stepped into the role of Room Leader in the Toddler Two room when the opportunity arose, before later filling in for a maternity leave position as an Assistant Director in August 2025. Melissa has over seven years of experience in the early childhood sector and previously worked as an Administrative Assistant prior to having children.

Melissa is passionate about Early Childhood Education because she understands how important it is for children to be provided with a safe and nurturing environment in the first few years of their lives.

Melissa is a parent to two children aged 12 and 10. Outside of work, she enjoys building LEGO and 3D wooden puzzles with her children, as well as reading novels. Melissa speaks multiple languages, including Indonesian, Mandarin, Hokkien, and English. Melissa also has a musical background, having learned piano from a young age and completed the Grade 7 ABRSM Piano examination.
