Georgina Dracopoulos

Assistant Director
Wollert Centre

Georgina began her career in the early years sector in 2009 as a Childcare Educator Assistant. While she enjoyed working directly with the children, Georgina often found herself volunteering for tasks outside the room, such as preparing learning documents, assisting with meetings, and supporting administrative tasks. Over the next five years, Georgina gained invaluable experience in the sector but eventually decided to take a break and travel across Europe. This journey was truly life-changing and deepened her appreciation for her Greek heritage and traditions.

Upon Georgina’s return, she joined her family in running their café in Brunswick—and she is proud to claim she makes a mean cup of coffee! After a brief stint in real estate, Georgina realised that her true passion lies in education. She decided to refocus on childcare, but this time with a clear intention to shift towards the administrative side. Since then, Georgina has found her purpose and hasn’t looked back.

At home, Georgina feels fortunate to be surrounded by a loving family. She believes her husband is her greatest support, and her two children are her proudest accomplishments. Outside of work, Georgina enjoys travelling and getting creative with arts and crafts, an activity she loves to do together with her children.
