Sara joined the Wallaby Donnybrook family in February 2025 as an Assistant Director. With over 15 years of early childhood experience , from owning and operating a limited hours creche, to working as a Room Leader before moving into an Educational Leader position and then into an Assistant Director position, Sara has a wealth of knowledge about our sector. She has over 8 years of management experience and places a strong emphasis on ensuring educators feel welcomed, respected, and valued.

Sara is extremely passionate about Early Childhood Education and Care and believes in a holistic approach to caring for and educating our youngest generation. Each child is different and unique, and it is our responsibility to bring out the best in each child, and we do that by seeing all children as competent and capable learners. When Sara is mentoring educators she encourages them to adapt their resources and teaching style to bring out the best in each child.

Sara has 5 children ranging in age from 21 down to 4, and she certainly understands the complexities of juggling children, working, and attending to the needs of the home. Not that Sara has much free time, but when she does, she loves to read and draw.
